I really do wonder why the 4890 has to be a marketed 4870. The fact that it is being manipulated from a 4870 to a 4890 is only due to simple overclocking and marketing. It's really too bad that it has to be that way. Only because eventually people will end up not buying the products from you; come on, DAAMIT.
I am only basing this information from The Inquirer page that I saw.
